Chitter chatter,
Little wings,
Back in town,
From when the leaves turned brown.
Little buttons,
Sneaking on branches,
Teasing their bloom,
I beg them to let me look.
Quack quack,
They’re taking a sun nap.
They need to snooze,
They’ll all be parents soon.
Tip of my nose,
Still pink and chilly.
Rejoice.
Rejoice.
The rebirth is here,
Don’t you dare miss it.
Taste this day,
Go out and kiss it.
